How long is a session?

The first session usually takes an hour and half and the following sessions are an hour length.
As well we offer some special programs that might take longer.

What do I feel when I am hypnotized?

Everyone experiences hypnosis in a different way. One common feeling is calmness and relaxation.
Some people report that they experience change in the temperature of the body. Others have tingling sensation in the toes or fingers. Some become very thirsty while others have involuntarily tears or have some strong feeling in the body.
Everybody is unique and have different sensations in hypnosis.
Our hypnotherapist constantly observes you during the session and notices when you reach a hypnotic state.

How do I know that I DO experience hypnotic state?

Some people have no doubts that their experience was very unique and can recognize it as hypnosis, while others might feel it as a general relaxed state.
For most of the people a hypnotic state is very similar to the moment when you are almost asleep but not sleeping yet. For the beneficial therapy we suggest you to stop doubting your abilities or effect of hypnosis. The more you believe in the therapy the faster it will work.
If you have some resistance to the treatment you are fighting yourself. However, in some cases in might happen involuntarily.
Please discuss it with your hypnotherapist so he/she can address this issue.

Can everybody be hypnotized?

Although, suggestibility to hypnosis varies between people, everybody can be hypnotized if chooses so.

What happens during the first session?

During the first session you will meet your hypnotherapist and discuss your goal and your challenges to achieve it.
Hypnotherapist need to learn as much as possible about your issues, how you experience them, when, for how long and etc. Understanding your issues allows hypnotherapist to develop and plan a personalized treatment that will be most beneficial for you.
Personalizing the treatment dramatically increases the success of the treatment.
After, a hypnotherapist explains how hypnosis works and what to expect during and after the treatment. We encourage you to ask as many questions as possible regarding hypnotherapy, so you have a clear understanding of how it will work.
Once you have completed the consultation, you will fill in 2-3 forms. The hypnotherapist will then ask you to grant permission to guide you into a hypnotic state and you will start the most exciting part of the treatment.
At the conclusion of the session you and your hypnotherapist will discuss your experience and evaluate your treatment moving forward. Back To Top

Can I be hypnotized against my will?

The only possibility to be hypnotized against your will is when you become a subject of Waking Hypnosis, which means that you are not aware that you are being hypnotized.
As a logical consequence you can not be hypnotized against your will when you work with a hypnotherapist.

Can a hypnotherapist give me wrong suggestions?

Our hypnotherapists give an oath to provide ethical and authentic therapy for the clients. In addition to that, when you are aware that you are being hypnotized you will not accept any suggestions that are against your principles or beliefs. Back To Top

Am I able to control myself when I am hypnotized?

Yes, you are in full control of your words and actions.
The movies that show hypnotized zombies are only movies and not the reality.

Hypnotherapy: 93% recovery after 6 sessions
Per American Society of Clinical Hypnosis
• Home Study Self-Hypnosis: 2 – 5% success rate

How long does it take to treat an issue?

As in any other therapy it depends on the issue and on your desire to succeed.

Can a problem be related to more than one root cause?

Yes it can. In case the issue has more than one root cause, a hypnotherapist will identify it and treat every root. Back To Top

Can a root cause be found in a conscious state?

Theoretically, yes. However, it is not very easy as usually we do not connect the issue with the original cause.
In most of the cases, when clients are trying to guess where the issue is coming from we reveal that the root is much deeper and the situation that a client mentioned at the beginning is only a moment when it became known in the conscious state of mind. Back To Top

When choosing a hypnotherapist make sure that he/she is certified and has completed proper education program for hypnotherapy.

What if English is not my primary language?

It depends on what level you speak and understand English. If you are fluent – you can work with a hypnotherapist in English.
However, if it is really difficult for you for you to speak and understand English we suggest you to find a hypnotherapist who works in your language.
